Caddie Fired Mid Round in LPGA U.S. Open.....

They say its never a dull moment on sports center.  I bet when they say that they have no idea what next big drama incident is going to take place.  Over the past weekend a second caddie incident happened.  Last week at the Travelers tournament Bubba Watson had a major disagreement with his caddie after taking a triple-bogie on home #16.  This weeks dilemma was on the LPGA.  Jessica Korda fired her caddie during the middle of her round while playing in the U.S. Open.  Talk about drama that is seriously nuts caddies aren’t there just to carry the bag they have a lot of pressure on them to make tough decisions and right club selections at every shot.  So since she needed a caddie she put her boyfriend on the bag to finish the round.

Shane Bacon is quoted saying: “ A lot of people think the only job of a caddie is to carry the bag. That couldn't be more wrong. A caddie is a swing coach, a mental coach, a voice of reason and persuasion and the person that makes sure, if you go on tilt, that things can smooth over so you can finish your round and not post some absurdly high number.” About caddies.  I couldn’t agree more they are your only companion out on the course.

Jessica stated: “I care about Jason a lot.  He is a great guy.  ''That's just how it happens sometimes in life. That was one of those things today that it just unfolded. It was very hard for me to do. I'm not that type of person to take these things really easily.'' After her round at the U.S. Open.

Hopefully this next week of PGA and LPGA play is easier on these caddies.
