Every week Ping sends out its latest tour wins with the pro
having Ping in the bag and I was thought it was worth passing on to you the reader about Fedex Cup winner
Bill Horschel and Bubba Watson.
Here’s what was written:
In a historic three-week playoff
run that included two victories and a runnerup finish, PING Pro Billy Horschel
walked away with the FedExCup after winning the Tour Championship. It came after
switching to the new G30 driver just weeks before the playoffs began. Since
then, he’s averaged 12 more yards off the tee. Horschel earned more than $13.4
million in a three-week span with wins at the BMW Championship, Tour Championship and a runnerup
finish at the DeutscheBank Championship.
So that’s what it takes people
add 10 yards to your driver and you can bank $13.4 million in a three week
span!!!! In other news for ping:BEST SEASON EVER FOR BUBBA - Bubba
Watson concluded his best-ever year on the PGA Tour 2nd on the money list with
more than $6.3 million in earnings. The two-time winner in 2014, including The Masters,
so registered career highs in runner-up
finishes (3), top 10s (8), and FedExCup standing (5th). He finished the year #1
in driving distance at 314.3 yards with his G30 driver. He was first in drives
over 300 yards (61.86%) and over 320 yards (33.42%).
